The original Vive started shipping in April 2016, equipped with controllers and base stations to track the headset’s movement throughout a room. Pre-orders for Vive Pro started today on Vive.com and Amazon.com, so if you're interested in getting the upgrade, you should head there straight away. What's even better, purchasing the Vive Pro VR headset before June 3 will bundle in a six-month subscription to Viveport - the app store for virtual reality where customers can explore, create, connect, and experience the content they love and need. The Vive Pro’s marquee feature is the significant increase in resolution, bringing it in line with Samsung’s Odyssey headset with a combined 2880 x 1600 resolution - which is an upgrade from both the original Vive and Rift featuring 2160×1200 total resolution. The Vive Pro also includes integrated headphones and slight improvements to overall comfort of their usage - and we know how important factor that is when it comes to watching the VR porn videos. Second good news from HTC concerns the classic version of the VR goggles. From now on, the permanent global price will be dropped for the original HTC Vive package - now it's priced at $500, making it more affordable and bringing its' price closer to the Facebook’s Oculus Rift at $400.
