Leaked Details About Meta Quest 3 VR Goggles

Details and design of the Meta Quest 3 goggles, which have been announced for some time, have appeared online. They show some notable differences from the Meta Quest 2. The Meta Quest Pro will probably get the most attention from the fans of virtual reality porn movies, but the latest leaks suggest that we are also close to the release of version 3. Meta Quest 3 – What Has Changed?

The latest information comes from the YouTuber Brad Lynch, who has previously revealed important details about Meta Quest Pro, which is supposed to be a more expensive and feature-rich version of Quest. The Quest 3, on the other hand, is simply a direct continuation of the Quest line, the successor to the second version, which is expected to offer a lower price but fewer features, tailored more for beginners. This does not mean, however, that the new goggles will be exactly the same as the last Quest. The most striking change is, of course, the design – including changes in the appearance of the lenses. The lenses are said to be thinner and lighter than the current version, which is expected to translate into greater comfort during long gaming sessions. The entire headset is smaller and presumably also lighter. The battery is probably still located somewhere near the viewfinder, so the goggles may have the balance facing the front of the device. Unlike version two, the new goggles are expected to have a wider range of adjustment of the distance between the lenses, which should allow more users to adjust the goggles under them.

More Powerful Processor

The device is expected to use a second-generation Snapdragon XR2 processor, which hasn't even been officially announced by the manufacturer yet – but one can guess that it will generate more power with a lower appetite for battery power. The goggles, on the other hand, will not have any eye or face tracking (unlike the Pro version).

The Meta Quest 3 should hit the market next year, but it's hard to say at this point how much they might cost. However, they should be relatively cheap, especially having an internal competitor in the form of the Pro version.
