Meta, Together With LG, Goes to War with Apple and Samsung. What Does This Mean for VR Porn Movies?

The Domination of Meta

Meta has dominated the market for budget virtual reality devices after acquiring Oculus. For less than $400 you get the Quest 2 goggles, which offer excellent immersion (for their price) and a plethora of options for sessions with VR porn scenes, including the ability to connect the headset to a computer using Quest Link technology.

Meta and LG Like Apple? Something Big is Coming

According to new information, Meta has partnered with LG in the context of the next Quest Pro. This deal resulted from talks with LG Display about providing OLED screens for the goggles, which would provide higher resolution and a more compact design. Various LG group companies are involved in the partnership, with LG Electronics manufacturing and using screens from LG Display, batteries from LG Energy, and components from LG Innotek.

The first product resulting from this collaboration is planned for 2025, with an estimated price of around $2,000. For what it's worth, a revised headset from Meta, Quest 3, is expected to debut in 2024, which will bring many changes and improvements. This will be another significant step in the development of VR/AR headsets. While there is speculation that the goggles may be called Quest 4 Pro, it is more likely that it will be a continuation of Meta's product line – and will take the name Quest Pro 2.

Interestingly, the Quest Pro 2 was previously expected to be canceled by Meta for various reasons. However, it looks like the original plan has returned.

An AR/VR Headset For Everyone!

The augmented and virtual reality headset market is starting to get crowded. The VR porn scenes area has seen an abundance of options for some time now. However, what about AR? Thanks to Apple, which announced the Vision Pro, revolutionary goggles that provide an amazing experience, but also cost more than $3,000.
