Virtual reality just like the sphere of new technologies, computer games, or porn movies is usually lumped into the realm of typically male interests. However, there is nothing more misleading than this stereotypical approach. Women, just like men, are frequent viewers of VR porn movies, as well as developed quite a few interesting businesses related to the VR sector. Below are some particularly interesting startups and projects that, led by a woman's hand, with the help of virtual reality, are taking the 21st century into another dimension.
Vividly, Gunita Kulikovska
Architects and interior designers are among the first to notice the huge possibilities of using VR in their daily work. Vividly, a startup based in Latvia has used virtual reality to create an app that enables 3D visualization of architectural designs. CEO, Gunita Kulikovska, in an interview with Women in Virtual Reality, acknowledged that VR technology allows architects to convey their vision of a project to the audience in its entirety, precisely as their imagination shapes it.
What effects does this have? First and foremost, improved communication among colleagues and directly with clients. Thanks to VR tools, architects can pour all the layers of their creativity into a virtual space, training their workshop and spatial imagination, without interfering with the environment or multiplying additional costs. And guess what? We're using the very same techniques when developing our interactive VR porn games!

STORYUP, Healium, Sarah Hill
What does VR Have in Common with Stress Reduction Techniques?
Stress as a disease of people living in a dizzying pace, constantly on the run, from deadline to deadline makes us look for more and more ways to soothe our shattered nerves. Even though our VR porn scenes are good stress relievers on their own, experimental use of some other tools previously unknown to medicine to reduce stress levels is becoming more and more common.
Sarah Hill, CEO of Storyup, the company responsible for creating the Healium space, has followed this lead: an innovative VR platform that, by immersing the user in a virtual reality that mimics nature, restores calmness and clarity of mind. Researchers involved in the project monitored brain activity during a six-minute session. An EEG (electroencephalography) study of brain activity showed that the action of areas responsible for anxiety decreases while using Healium.
Brain Activity
Virtual reality affects thousands of neurons in the brain. The brain, perceiving computer-created reality through the senses, is fooled by this illusion, which is one of the many different reasons why our VR porn videos are so immersive and realistic. Moreover, this effect makes it possible for us to use VR for medical purposes as in the case of Healium.

FOVE, Inc. Yuka Kojima
Japan, the country of the Cherry Blossom, has not been known for a long time as a pioneer of new technologies. VR is no exception. The first headset with an eye-tracking option, i.e. enabled eye movement tracking, came from Japan. It turns out that a woman is also behind this success. Yuka Kojima started her adventure with VR while producing games for Sony Entertainment Japan, she obtained the position of team leader there. Later, with funds raised partly through online fundraising and partly through grants, she became the co-founder of FOVE, a startup dedicated to developing and implementing eye-tracking. Giants such as Samsung and Foxconn Technology Group have become her clients.
Eye tracking is functionality that for VR is another – after the disconnection of VR goggles from the cable – convenience and breakthrough for all kinds of VR content, including our VR porn videos. Virtual reality technology is the future and thanks to small breakthroughs like this, we are getting into it faster than we think. And that's without blinking an eye!
