HP, Valve, and Microsoft Work on Next-generation VR Headset

Believe it or not, but HP has just announced the next generation of VR. The company has published a sneak peek of its new virtual reality headset, which is being developed in cooperation with Microsoft and Valve. Not without a reason, the announcement appeared on the day of the premiere of Half-Life: Alyx – the most awaited VR game, which, according to most reviewers, is an indicator of the possibilities of virtual reality technology. Even though VR Bangers do not produce VR porn games (yet), we always try to keep in touch with everything that is going on the virtual reality gaming market, as we believe that it's interconnected with VR porn industry – and we always have our fingers crossed for new technologies for both VR games and our 6K UHD VR porn scenes. So far, however, HP does not reveal details about the successor of Reverb goggles but ensures that the new ones will be "more immersive and more comfortable" than the predecessor. Moreover, the manufacturer announces that his new product will be an "uncompromising VR headset" – and that is exactly what has caught our attention, as "uncompromising" is definitely something that we want in our VR porn movies! It is worth recalling that Reverb was part of Microsoft's Windows Mixed Reality program and stood out above all for its high resolution (2160 x 2160 pixels per eye). HP announcement of a "new standard in VR" suggests that it does not intend to compete with the cheapest VR devices on the market – such as Oculus Rift S – although, on the other hand, if it reaches the level of Valve Index ($999), it is unlikely to be more successful. So far we don't even know the approximate release date of the new HP goggles, but it is unlikely that these will allow us to fight the current market shortages. What's more, the coronavirus epidemic may make the producer not rush the release, and what's more, the production of the headset may be delayed – just like with Valve and Oculus goggles. Could we use some new high-end virtual reality goggles for VR porn movies in even higher resolutions? We definitely could! Click the image above to visit the manufacturer's Twitter release on your own. The SteamVR platform from Valve already supports Windows Mixed Reality headset with other goggles from Oculus or HTC. The new HP hardware looks similar to Reverb, and the two black circles at the front suggest webcams for tracking user movements – which are used in Windows Mixed Reality instead of external SteamVR-style transmitters. We don't know yet what the cooperation with Microsoft and Valve is about, but maybe it's about support for both platforms – which could possibly open some new opportunities for further cooperations, maybe even with VR porn producers like us. We just hope that the new HP goggle will combine a convenient Windows Mixed Reality user tracking system with Valve Index-style controllers – which are the most convenient ones available for VR, giving the biggest plethora of options also for the movement inside of interactive VR porn experiences. For now, however, the successor to Reverb is a big secret and we have to wait for the manufacturer's hardware presentation.
