More and more information is beginning to appear around the latest version of the Oculus Quest. Based on all the information, it is possible to determine with a high degree of probability when the Quest 3 will appear on sale. We also know the price and specifications of the device – and we have some great hopes for it in terms of our VR porn scenes. Interestingly, the release of the Quest 3 was not at all such a certainty as it might seem! Meta was working on what they called Project Cambria, that is, VR goggles that would fully exploit the potential of the Metaverse. Project Cambria was renamed Oculus Quest Pro, though, and this is a completely different initiative.
The Release of the Meta Oculus Quest 3
While the release of Quest 2 was a natural after the release of the first Quest that paved the way in terms of VR goggles, the release of Quest 3 does not necessarily mean a big revolution. In general, Quest 3 will have a tough time beating the ever-popular Quest 2 which is finding more and more buyers. However, we think that the market will gladly accept even better-quality goggles at a reasonable price that will allow offering the best entertainment in VR now – including VR sex videos. What do we know about the Oculus Quest 3 at this point, though?
Quest 3 Name
There are many indications that the Oculus Quest 3 will be the last goggles with this name. All because Facebook, which owns Oculus, is unifying the names of its products. So, we can expect that Quest 3 will be the last goggles signed with the Oculus brand. This is because everything will later be called Meta Quest. Who knows – maybe the Quest 3 will already be called Meta Quest 3, too?
Price of the Meta Oculus Quest 3 VR Goggles
We don't have an official price list yet. However, all the leaks say that the price of the Quest 3 will be at least competitive. Considering that at the time of its release, the Oculus Quest 2 cost $399 for the 64GB version whereas now the 128GB version can be had for as low as $299, all indications are that the Quest 3 will be at a competitive price. We can expect significant reductions in Quest 2 and Quest 3 prices at $249 for the 128GB version. Certainly, though, the price of the Meta Quest 3 will be lower than the Oculus Quest Pro (Project Cambria), which is already a good reason to think about buying this VR device for VR xxx-related purposes.
When will the Meta (Oculus) Quest 3 be Released?
Here, too, we do not have certain information about the specific release date of the Oculus Quest 3. However, all indications are that the Quest 3 may go on sale… after the release of the Oculus Quest Pro (Project Cambria). The release of the Oculus Quest Pro is suggested for the second quarter of 20222 – probably June.
Moreover, the release of Meta Quest 3 is presumed to take place only during the Meta Connect 2023 event. However, everything is still subject to change because there are increasingly frequent interruptions in access to various electronic components. One should keep one's fingers crossed that nothing else happens in geopolitics. People want to spend money in peace! 😉
Oculus Quest 3 Specifications
Looking at what was packed into Quest 2, one can expect that the third iteration of Quest will be interesting. All indications are that the Quest 3 Meta will have to compete with the PSVR2 which are 4K HDR OLEDs with a resolution of 2000×2040 pixels per eye. Rumor has it that Quest 3 will use uOLED screens. If that were to happen, the Quest 3 would potentially have quite a bit of headroom in terms of picture quality compared to the PSVR2.
From Quest 3, we can expect a 120Hz refresh rate and the possibility of adding an even better refresh rate later. There is much speculation about the possibility of using technology from other Oculus collaborators including "light-field display technology" from CREAL which should help minimize the size of the VR goggles to the size of almost regular glasses! Then there's the use of an extensive SDK from Meta that allows for a sizable improvement in immersion.
Controllers in Oculus Quest 3
The controllers in Oculus Quest 3 will certainly be improved. It's possible that instead of classic "pads" we'll get something like armbands or something that relies more on sensing the movement of our hands/arms/body than on physical buttons – and we'd definitely like to see that in terms of our interactive VR porn scenes and games. A lot has been happening in this matter recently, so keep your fingers crossed together with VR Bangers. What will come out of it in the end, though? It's hard to say, but let's hope for the best!
