At the World Mobile Congress that took place in Barcelona from 02/28 to 03/03 2022, HTC VIVE presented several new products and services in the field of VR, 5G, Blockchain and NFT, among others. As you probably already know, we, VR Bangers, are always up to date with all such novelties – even if they don't directly consider our VR porn scenes – and today we'd like to tell you something about some of them.
VIVERSE
HTC VIVE's vision for years has been to bring together the two worlds, virtual and real, in such a way that they intersect, complement each other, and allow users to unleash their imagination, creating worlds of VIVERSE – an ecosystem in which technology plays a significant role, the most important is the comfortable experience of users and the interactions associated with it. This is how VIVERSE was created. An immersive, engaging, boundless universe of fantastic new experiences and at the same time a gateway to other virtual universes. VIVE means life and VERSE represents the next chapters of life. VIVERSE is about how we enhance creativity, deepen collaboration, make human connections, share experiences – and much, much more. VIVERSE is also a dynamic platform serving NFT, including the VIVE Arts NFT marketplace and VIVE Bytes.
VIVERSE is an open world that enables you to work, entertain and learn on a whole new level. It will create millions of new memories, experiences, and friendships in both your personal and professional lives. HTC VIVE is working with hundreds of partners and developers to make VIVERSE an open ecosystem, including but not limited to:
- Beatday – the world's first interactive holographic music platform for PC, VR, and mobile devices.
- Engage – a virtual communication platform that provides immersive, collaborative environments for live events, meetings, and training for hundreds and thousands of VR users.
- VRChat – a SoMe, VR gaming and event platform that functions and brings together thousands of VR users creating communities.
- VIVE Sync – a communication platform that offers end-to-end business solutions for meeting and collaborating in VR.
The topic of META and such "VERSES" is really popular lately, and we can't stop wondering whether it will somehow influence the world of VR porn at some point… what do you think?
HOLORIDE
HTC VIVE and Holoride have partnered to bring VR entertainment to car passengers using VIVE Flow VR glasses and Holoride's innovative platform. A technology start-up, Holoride has created an entirely new product category of apps for passengers in moving vehicles, transforming shorter and longer car journeys into fun, immersive experiences. Holoride's technology connects XR with real-time motion, location, and navigation data from the vehicle. Why is that even important to us? Well, because the abovementioned technology is really compact-sized – and could possibly at some point lead to something related to VR porn experiences, too!
Using VIVE Flow, a lightweight, and compact VR goggle, it's the perfect way to have an interactive, dynamic, fun-filled, and humorous time on the road. While in the car, passengers will experience Holoride's dynamically adjusting app, which is able to adjust the motion, speed, and behavior of the car so that experiences like games adjust in real-time to the length and type of route, driving style, and location. Holoride does not cause motion sickness because the visual experience matches the real, actual, and physical behavior of the vehicles. We actually have a couple of ideas on how to use that in the production of VR porn, hmm… stay tuned!
LBE (Local Based Entertainment)
Location-based entertainment (LBE) is a rapidly growing branch of XR in arcades and theme parks around the world. It harnesses the power and versatility of VR to create unique, immersive experiences for consumers. The VIVE Focus 3 is used e.g. for LBE applications, providing an immersive experience combined with a gaming arena set in the real world. VIVE Focus 3 supports Wi-Fi 6E, so it is ideal for fast performance where low latency is essential. A dedicated LBE mode provides flexibility, supporting multiple players in a play space of up to 1,000 m2, a size comparable to four tennis courts. The playing area does not even have to be a perfect square or rectangle, as the software allows for complex room shapes such as polygons and even L-shaped spaces – which is a piece of great news for more freedom in interactive VR sex scenes, too!
Instead of having a large space dedicated to more traditional games like Laser Tag that have a fixed, physical setting, LBE solutions can constantly evolve, adapt, and play multiple games (and watch VR porn) in the same space, offering a virtual setting. This allows for quick and easy reconfiguration and transition from jungle to spaceship in a brief time. LBE solutions are already being used by many of VIVE's partners, including a major theme park called Europa Park – we'll keep you posted at VRBangers.com if we'll hear more about that!
