Oculus "Santa Cruz" Visor Will Debut in 2019

It has been a while (almost a year actually) from when we first told you about the Oculus Santa Cruz project. These 6DoF controllers were highlighted so long ago, that many people have forgotten about them already, but certainly we did not - and today we have some great news for every single one of you that has been waiting for them to show up! According to the rumors going on all around the Internet, these innovative controllers are coming to us as soon as next year - with the development of such solutions come some great hopes for bigger immersion in our VR porn films, as thanks to such pads sooner or later it could be possible to actually touch (or at least steer) some lifelike boobs in 6K ultra high definition virtual reality. The new model, just like the Oculus Go VR headset available since May this year, will be completely independent (or, in other words, standalone), which means that everything you need for its operation can be found inside the goggle cover. Santa Cruz will however be much more technologically advanced. While the Oculus Go only tracks the 3DOF's movement of the headset and the dedicated controller, Santa Cruz will receive position tracking in six degrees of freedom (6DOF). Independence in terms of this device also means the lack of external sensors such as, for example, those required by the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive VR goggles. They will be replaced with four wide-angle cameras built into the front panel of the goggles, which is a huge step forward in terms of comfort for both VR games and VR Bangers' immersive VR porn movies.

The controllers are somewhat similar to the Oculus Touch pads currently sold in the Rift set. In comparison to them, the position of the ring changed - in the newer model it simply "went" up a little. According to the manufacturer, this change is to make the markers localized there to be more visible by the sensors. Another change is the lack of an analog knob and buttons that have been replaced by the trackpad. However, both triggers were left in place. Since technology is far behind from letting us touch some sexy VR porn stars, we certainly keep on looking for some controllers that could allow us bigger interactions inside of virtual reality porn films - yes, those are not for VR games only. For now, all we can do is to wait for them to really show up - we will probably learn more details at the end of September when the Oculus Connect 5 conference will take place.
