Only One Way To Save Mark Zuckerberg's Metaverse!
We live in a time where the technological rush appears to be endless, and where every day we learn about new inventions that could change our future for good. Mark Zuckerberg's Metaverse is a topic that has been on everyone's lips until recently – but although the technology seems very promising, more and more facts suggest its unclear future.
Even Apple CEO Tim Cook stated in his CNBC interview that "he always thinks it's important that people understand what something is, and he's really not sure the average person can tell you what the Metaverse is." And indeed, although immediately after the Metaverse was revealed, everyone was talking about it – individuals interested in the topic were not asking about its uses or recounting its amazing capabilities but were rather trying to understand what it even is. To this day, an awful lot of people still have no idea what the technology is presumed to be about, while Zuckerberg himself claims that it is supposed to replace the internet itself in the future – which is, after all, one of the most simple and intuitive things in the world.
However, this is not the only (or the biggest) problem for the future of the Metaverse, because standing in its way is, for example, the fact that Mark Zuckerberg is simply not letting it go free and tries to control it way too much. In the world of open-source solutions, user-made modifications, and everything being fully customizable, indeed it seems that Metaverse is limited by overly strict rules that will be a huge obstacle in the way of its future popularity growth. What's more, the CEO of Meta Platforms has no intention of allowing VR porn movies into his virtual universe – and as we well know, right next to VR games, VR sex scenes are the most popular and profitable part of the entire virtual reality industry.
Fortunately, not all people in the world share Zuckerberg's point of view, and there are individuals whose visions are much more open to the actual needs of users – which was the impetus for the creation of an alternative to the Metaverse, in which the boundaries will be placed much wider. A company called Terminal18 decided to design its own Metaverse and sell land pretty much to everyone. The first buyers that will be allowed to build their land on the Metaverse are the largest adult entertainment companies – including the websites like VRPorn.com, VRBangers.com, and more.
"The future is near, and we are moving the virtual reality technology forward," says Daniel Abramovich, the CEO of VR Bangers. "According to Google Trends, currently most of the VR headsets are used to watch VR porn and by creating a Metaverse free for everyone, people will be able to enjoy content of all kinds. It won't only be adult content, but this will be a Metaverse to all different types of needs and personalities – the true definition of freedom. We believe that something like this will explode within a few years and the future is close."
Thanks to Terminal18, your possibilities are almost limitless. The creators of this virtual world allow their customers to open outlets with a wide variety of services and goods – such as real shoe stores, NFT stores, or sex stores with erotic toys. Abramovich and his company bought a large amount of land and have built one of the largest buildings – where you can walk in, sit down, and watch VR porn content from all their networks. It's doubtful, however, that VR Bangers' position as owners of the largest building in this open-minded Metaverse will last forever – for new outlets are opening every day and more and more companies are choosing to invest in this type of service for their customers.
"Our Metaverse is not finished yet, but we're working hard with the team to sell more land to other companies and to create a more realistic feel to our virtual world," says Hugo R, the founder, and COO of Terminal18. "Our Metaverse takes the form of a city modeled in 3D, cut into 4 zones, and subdivided into plots. Each plot corresponds to a unique NFT, giving its holder a deed of ownership that allows him to create their activity, customize their virtual space, as well as offer all types of content, ensure its visibility, and monetize its content in NFT format. We thought about everything and we're glad that despite such a young project, we've been trusted by so many professionals from the adult industry."
Terminal18's Metaverse also has another huge plus – it's not hard to understand what it's about. This virtual world is nothing less than the first immersive search engine in the form of a 3D virtual city. The company's goal is to aggregate all adult industry into a virtual location – divided into several lands of 100m², where brands and creators can set up their shops, business, or activity. So, in other words, right now you could actually call it an immersive version of the Google web browser dedicated to adult entertainment – which is way easier to understand that the current definition of its creation provided by Zuckerberg himself. But will this young visionary understand that his invention needs some tweaking and that it is currently contradicting its own vision of offering freedom and bringing people together? Only time will tell.
