If you read our tech blogs about VR porn related stuff, you do know that we simply love being up to date with all the newest VR headsets. Since there has been some huge news going around the entire VR porn (and virtual reality in general) market, we just had to tell you about it - have you heard about the newest Xiaomi Mi VR Standalone VR goggles? The Xiaomi Mi VR is equipped with the same components as the Oculus Go, ie the LED display with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440/538 ppi) and the new generation of Oculus lenses. What's more, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and 32 or 64 GB of internal memory can be found inside of this autonomous headset, which is more than enough for convenient watching of VR porn movies. The only real difference is access to (regular) VR content. While Oculus Go has access to the mobile version of the Oculus Store, the same platform as the Samsung Gear VR goggles, the Mi VR headset works with the digital Xiaomi store. Importantly, the Xiaomi Mi VR is based on the Oculus mobile SDK. This is important for Chinese players, but also for developers of VR games, applications and producers of VR porn movies like us. It looks like we can base on the technology used by us for the support of Oculus Rift VR visor to achieve the same VR porn effect with the newest Xiaomi's device. Cooperation with Oculus Mobile SDK also means that the developers of the Samsung Gear VR and Oculus Go goggles can easily start selling their production on the Chinese market. To encourage such action, Oculus resigned from participation in revenues throughout 2018. The only condition is the full Chinese location of the title. The current model assumes that the profits will be divided by 70%/30% (developers/store) - unfortunately all of those don't apply to VR porn videos. That's too bad, VR Bangers have always wanted to get some Chinese clients! But how can we teach our VR porn stars to speak Chinese...

What's more, the VR headset is a huge bestseller! According to the estimates of the American analytical company Greenlight Insights, 30,000 copies of the headset, the Chinese version of Oculus Go, were sold on the day of the launch of the standalone Xiaomi Mi VR goggles. Probably this result could be much higher, if not limited availability of inventory of the device in warehouses. Mi VR Standalone sold out on the official Xiaomi website in just three minutes. The version equipped with 32 GB of internal memory available on JD.com - one of the largest online stores in China - went through the first hours of sales. In addition, more than 50,000 people have registered on the official site of the Mi VR Standalone product to receive notifications regarding the re-availability of goggles. If these VR goggles are so popular, shall we add the exclusive support for them in our VR porn videos? After all, more and more standalone VR headsets will only keep on coming, so... that's definitely something that we need to think about! Did you like this article about newest Xiaomi's device?
